Networking. Some people just ignore it and build a barrier to get the right connections for their business. During this event we will define what is networking and why is it a must to do for a startupper and how to make the best out of it. This topic is important for any business or your later career.
One thing is building your external network of connections, but it is even more important to grow your team. Register!
Peter Kovács and Alex Gibb will guide us through the world of networking.
And we'll go to the bar for practise after the theoretical part!
Peter is the Co-Founder and Chief Social Evangelist of IseeQ, former Talent Scout of Prezi, a passionate networker and community builder residing in Budapest, Hungary. Founding one of the biggest closed IT groups of the CEE region on LinkedIn with almost 5.000 pre-selected members and the first purely informal networking meeting point for international geek-hearted people, he is working hard on pursuing the vision of a better integrated European startup ecosystem.
Alex currently heads Corporate Sustainability for SEB’s Baltic Division, the leading bank in the Baltic States. His experience in the region has covered numerous teams in the public, private and non-governmental sectors, including ten years as the director of a British NGO, promoting rural development in Lithuania, Poland and Belarus. Alex is passionate about entrepreneurship, having led several start ups and operated as a non-executive director and board member to various e-commerce firms and Invest Lithuania. He is constantly seeking to identify new entrepreneurial talents with a strong sustainability ethos; Alex believes in empowering people to make a difference.
